The Association of Junior Executives and Entrepreneurs (AJEE)
An official Washington-based non-profit for students interested in learning the real-world of business.
AJEE hosts business trips, where students visit local entrepreneurs and get tips.
Its latest feature is "Meet-a-Mentor", where students can connect with an array of different successful owners and executives for advice & couching.
Through AJEE, members have received internships, jobs, and have started their own businesses.
AJEE isn't just about business, it's about helping students succeed and prepare for a bright future with a great support system and high self-esteem.
Founded this organization in 2001 to fill the gap of organizations in Eastern Washington that really taught students the essentials of how to survive in the business world. AJEE was created not to be another theoretical competition or leadership program, but to really help teens get a jump-start on their goals and motivate them.
Not only have members received jobs and built their network system, but some have really become entrepreneurs.
"AJEE boosted my self-confidence and through the support of [the members] inspired me to go to college.."
--Matt (Student currently attending Washington State University)
